We just wanted to extend our sincere gratitude for all you've done for us here in Loreto. From the first welcome beer to the homemade granola for breakfast and fruit in the fridge to helping us organize with great insight, our future travels and trips within Loreto. We truly felt like we'd been welcomed by family and we are so grateful for all of your efforts. What a fabulous place to stay in Mexico. We have loved every minute. Many thanks.

Thomas and Paula Petrul, Loomis, California - (Oct. 2010)
Celebration of 20 years of marriage..celebrate we did!! Beyond our dreams. To feel so welcome at Las Cabanas and Loreto.. what a gem of a town. Everyday was an adventure. Snorkel gear, beach gear, everything at our fingertips. All needs taken car of. From the beautiful sunrise over the island to the colorful sunset we felt a huge blessing to spend time here.

Cheryl, Tim and Harry, Missoula, MT - (Aug. 2010)
Well third time is the lucky number, as this is our 3rd visit with you. We have had such a great visit each and every time. As you know we love Loreto and I hope we can fit into our busy schedule as this has become our favorite base camp. Remember if you are ever in Montana you have a place to stay.

Carlo and Valentina, Pavia, Italy - (August 2010)
We've traveled a lot around the world but we've never seen a beautiful place like Baja and Loreto. It's so wild. It wouldn't have been the same thing if we didn't feel at home as happened here at Las Cabanas. Thank you very much for all of your kind suggesions and comfortable accomodations. We hope to come back soon. Thanks again.

Lorenzo and Henrietta, Cervia, Italy - (August 2010)
Dear Jill, thank you so much for the great days we had here in Loreto and especially here in your place. We came in very late and you had that fantastic taco salad for us so that we didn't have to move again after 7 hours of driving. Good choice to give breakfast in the room. As I told you, everything was there in the room and we even used the laundry room. We had a great massage at Posada de Las Flores. We will definitely recommend las cabanas de loreto to everyone. We look forward to come again and then we'll do the Coronado tour. Thank you for everything.

Liz, Joby and Maurice, UK - (August 2010)
Thanks so much Jill, Les and everyone who makes Las Cabanas such a great place to stay. We all enjoyed it here so much and felt very relaxed. It couldn't have been a better place to spend this time in Loreto. Also, thank you for hte generous loan of equipment for Maurice's first snorkeling trips and for all the advice. And the hat..my face thanks you! Maurice says to say he really liked the pool, you may have noticed this. We hope you'll have room for us when we come back to Loreto. Thank you!

Bob and Karen, Camas, WA - (July 2010)
A fabulous week of R and R. Fishing was not very good but coolers are full of yellowtail at least-but no Dorado.. Massages at Posadas de Las Flores, and chilaquiles at Cafe Ole-just a few highlights-oh..world cup and fish tacos at La Mision.. Hope to return with family..this is truly and oasis!

Mike, Jackie and Ellen, - (June 2010)
Dear Rick and Jill, We just finished one of our nicest vacations! This is by far the greatest places we have stayed in Mexico. Thank you for arranging the boat rides for us and providing all the beach and snorkeling gear. We got to see a lot of dolphins and lot's of beautiful fish! We can't wait to come back next year!

Karla and Harold, Barrow, Alaska - (May 2010)
Every time we come now, we remark how lucky it was that we stumbled across you on our first visit-and you had space for us! All of you and the perfect cabanas have become a wonderful and much looked forward to part of our lives. Rick asked at dinner, "what is missing?" not surprisingly no one could come up with anything that is missing. From the granola in the morning to the popcorn and the movies at night, and all the great activites and restaurants in Loreto-it's perfect! Lolita's is our new favorite for salad, sandwiches and cinnamon rolls (although cin. rolls at Los Mandilles are great too). Good lattes at Sea and coffee. Anna and Salvadore at 2 mundos were great for diving. Thanks!

John, Teri and Ashley, Gold Beach, OR - (May 2010)
You are such fabulous people. Our stay with you is always a "10" on a 1-10 scale! I am sure we will be back for years to come!

Todd and Renita, - (May 2010)
Gracias! Gracias! What a fabulous week. Staying here was so wonderful. Very comfortable and relaxing! This is our first trip to Mexico and we definitely plan on returing to Loreto and staying at Las Cabanas with you!

Sally and Kevin, - (April 2010)
Great place. Little things like the clothes line, food, beer, soaps, lotions, etc.. set this place way above the competiion. We will definitely stay here again on our way through Loreto.

Dave and Ellen, Colville, WA - (March 2010)
A mellow, relaxing getaway here at Las Cabanas. One of the nicest aspects is the personal recommendations and also the feeling of inclusion extended by Linda and Les. We looked around a bit at this unique little town, and we agree..this is the best place to be in Loreto. Thank you for the warm hospitality..we will return!

Maria and Rick, - (March 2010)
Dear Linda, Les, Jill and Rick, What can we say but the deepest, heartfelt, muchas gracias for the wonderful restful two weeks in your lovely home.. We return home with fond memories of evenings around the BBQ, Ziggy, much fish, great conversation, company and good food! And of course, Zumba!

Jerry and Carla, Corvallis, OR - (March 2010)
Our 3rd trip to Loreto and our 1st time at your wonderful cabanas, but definitely not our last. I can't imagine a better location, with every amenity thought of plus your warm and winning personalities. We has a great time just lounging by the pool, watching the birds, listening to the palms, and reading. Thanks for the cocktail party, we enjoyed meeting fellow vacationers! We will pass the word about your piece of paradise! All the best!

Joanne, Redding, CA - (March 2010)
Your lovely cabana exceeded all the wonderful reviews online. I thought it was too good to be true but your have proven me wrong. We saw many whales and even touched some! It was an amazing experience! Thank you so much!

Kelly and Dale, Portland, OR - (Feb. 2010)

Kathy and James, Homer, AK - (Feb. 2010)
Jill, Rick and Ziggy! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome at Las Cabanas. You have thought of everything to make our stay perfect..from the homemade granola, fresh coffee beans, great mattress, awesome water pressure in the showers, huge movie selection and so much more..the rooms are immaculate and the courtyard is a dream, so private and quiet with such a great hot tub and pool. Nice cooking area in the courtyard to grill up our fish. We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Loreto, we felt like we were visiting friends. Thanks for being a great host, hostess and the best greeter ever.. ziggy! We can't wait to come back and spend more time here. Muchas Gracias.

Alan and Eleanor, U.K. - (Feb. 2010)
The only place to stay in Loreto. A truly wonderful oasis of peace with great facilities and excellent hosts. Good whales, good birds, and good food too-what else is there? Many thanks for a most enjoyable stay and great hospitality.

Wendy and Rich, Trinity Alps, CA - (January 2010)
What a wonderful start to the new year and a new decade! Las Cabanas is wonderful, the rooms, beds, beautiful grounds, all great, but what makes it so special are the hosts. Jill, LInda, Rick and Les, you all made us feel so welcome. Thank you for the great dinner, meeing all of your friends and other guests, Carmen Island, Rick's incredible photographs..hope we can stay longer next time! Thank you!

Ed and Phoebe, Canberra, Australia - (Dec. 2009)
What a brilliant place to stay! The captain, Adrian, was a fish magnet..the outdoor eatery was an instant friend maker, the hot tub and pool were super relaxing and the people of Loreto were the most friendly. This was a fantastic place to start our Mexican adventure, we only fear that we have peaked too soon with the delights of cabanas de Loreto!

Ralph and Jane , Oliver, BC Canada - (Dec. 2009)
We have had a wonderful time in Loreto and a lot has to do with where we stayed! Jill is an excellent hostess with always a smile and a suggestion of what to do, where to go or where to eat. A wonderful room filled with all sorts of things you may need, from snorkel gear to movies and popcorn. Honestly you wouldn't feel more at home, at home!

Melinda and Jerry, - (November 2009)
It's not worth being away for two years...we'll see you next year! As always your hospitality and helpfulness are superb and your cabanas are as beautiful as ever. We love it here and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Linda and Johannes, Kenmore, WA - (Oct. 2009)

It is always a pleasure to stay here. Third year to stay here and just as great as it was the first time. I look forwad to my stay again next year. Maybe twice and longer for sure! Thank you Les, you are a terrific host.

Stan and Jill, Atascadero, CA - (July 2009)
Stan and I had the best time! The fishing was great, the bikes were fun, the pool was cool, the food was yummy. This is the only way truly recharge your battery...thanks for the wonderful time!

Jeff and Ed, - (July 2009)
What a great place to come back to at the end of a great day of fishing. Jill and Rick, thanks for the warm welcome and cold beer upon our arrival, and Les, thanks for all the fishing tips and pointers to start off our fishing excursions. We'll definitely tell our friends, and you will see us again sometime..thanks again for the hospitality. Muchas Gracias!

Julie and Michael , Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - (September 2009)
We had a wonderful week at the Cabanas. We stayed during the last week of August. Pete was the stand in hotel manager and was a great host for us first timers to Loreto. It was hot, but we spend most of our days out, on and in, the Sea of Cortes'. The fishing was awesome, the diving was good and the snorkeling with Pilot Whales off the charts! Great trip and we will be back. Oh and the choice of August paid off. We had the entire hotel to ourselves. Really private, really nice!

Ross and Dreva, Cochrane, Alberta, Canada - (May 2009)
Where to start? Arriving strangers and it seemed more like catching up with old friends. Your hospitality is way up there. Everything one would possibly need right here at your fingertips.. and things we didn't know we needed. The sunset cruise was great..although, unlike Survivor, we all wanted to be voted off the island...many thanks to Rick, the Bee Charmer, so we could get away. Cold Cerveza to greet you, fresh fruit, comfy beds, spotless rooms, and the grounds are beautiful. Hope to see you again soon..thanks for everything.

Steve and Laura Lee, Post Falls, ID - (May 2009)
Thank you for your hospitality and all the "extras" you offer here at Las Cabanas--you have truly captured the warmth and generosity of the sirti of Mexico and it's people in this place! "Bienvenidos Mis Casa es su Casa" is brought to life through you! You make it look so easy, but don't think we haven't taken notice of all of your hard work and attention to details, from the shopping bags to each carefully placed rock. :) Blessings to you as you continue to build your lives here in Loreto and welcome visitors to this spectacular piece of Baja. Hope to be back soon!

Skip and Kelly, Yakima, WA - (April 2009)
Jill, Rick, Les, Linda and Ziggy too, Thanks you so much for the incredible stay here with you at Las Cabanas de Loreto. The extra touches (coffee beans/grinder, home made granola) have meant so much! This has been more like a stay in a cabana with friends. The grounds are like a private, lush little bit of paradise. Wish we could stay longer, but we must travel back to our daily grind so maybe we can afford to visit this fantastic jewel in Loreto again. May all that is good be yours.

Lynn and Lynn, Phoenix, AZ - (April 2009)
TripAdvisor.com was right...you ARE the NUMBER ONE resort here in Baja!!! What a lovely place this is and your hospitality is unsurpassed. Thanks so much for making our stay completely pleasant-from the welcome chat to a farewell brownie..Las Cabanas Rocks!

Bitsy and Robin, Chandler, AZ - (April 2009)

Jill, Rick, Les, Linda and Ziggy Third time to Loreto, third time at Las Cabanas. There simply is no better place to stay. The hospitality, location, cabanas-just perfect! The trip to San Javier and Carmen and Coronado were amazing. This is the most perfect vacation spot! Love you guys!

Olivia, Bel Air, Maryland - (April 2009)
Words cannot describe how wonderful this week has been but I will say that this is the vacation that all others will be compared to from now on (that is if I ever go anywhere else, but to here again!) Your hospitality was amazing. I did not feel like a paying guest but like a family member. Thank you Thank you Thank you! PS: Tell Ziggy I will bring her lots of treats next time!

Bess and Julia , Las Cruces, NM - (March 2009)
This place has a wonderful feel-more like a home than a hotel. Les and Linda were so friendly and helpful which made us so comfortable. You've thought of everything in setting up the rooms, including the great photos from your son in law. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Ellen and Hank, - (March 2009)
We have really enjoyed your beautiful piece of Eden. Loreto is a wonderful place. The people are so friendly and caring. We really appreciated your thoughtfulness and kindness and the many extra miles your went for us.

Linda and Jerry, Pinedale, WY - (March 2009)
What can I say that hasn't already been said. This place is fabulous...whale watching was so exciting and fun. Ice cream shop a must to go to-soooo delicious!!! Coronado Island beautiful-sea lions, fishing was good too.. all the food in town is very good. didn't find any bad. Rick's photos very beautiful. We will be BACK!!! Thank you again for your hospitality.

Estelle and Jerry, Los Angeles, CA - (Feb. 2009)
Las Cabanas exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and convenience. The unexpected bonus was the other guests all of whom were completely outgoing and inclusive. In many ways the four days here were as relaxing and interesting as any we have had. And the Whales were great!

Tracy, Leavenworth, WA - (Feb. 2009)
....Angels travel with good people..here the Angels have decided to stay!

Gregg and Alina, - (Feb. 2009)

Brigitte and Pierre, France - (February 2009)
Many many thanks for your wonderful hospitality in your fabulous home! We enjoyed our stay with you very much and fully appreciate all the convenience provided in la cabana. Too bad that Loreto is so far from France! Hasta luego!

Alison and Matt, Anchorage, Alaska - (February 2009)
What a paradise you have here in Loreto at Las Cabanas! We enjoyed having this home base for day trips to Isla Coronado, Mission of San Javier, Mulege, whale watching in Lopez Mateos, snorkeling, and the town of Loreto. Thanks for the hospitality. We hope a few of our photos capture the essence of the area like the beautiful ones Rick has taken that decorated our cabana! Hasta Luego!

Kim and Bruce, Portland, OR - (January 2009)
An oasis, truly. Others have said it all, we'll chime in..what a well-attended place and a welcome retreat from the cold and snow of our crazy portland winter. Thank you for everything...simply wonderful!

Cassandra , Bellingham, WA - (January 2009)
AHHHHH... Another wonderful visit to Las Cabanas! A great break from the snow and flooding in the Pacific NW! Looking forward to the future visits with new friends and familia! Thank you!

Gary and Irma, Walnut Creek, CA - (November 2008)
Excellence! All in one place. What more could anyone ask for? You are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home immediately. The room and grounds are beautiful, well maintained, with excellent maid service. Don't miss the juice man, and massage at Posada de Las Flores, and a day on the water.

Kim and Bruce, Surrey, BC - (November 2008)
One word....AMAZING! From the moment we walked through the door into your tropical compound until we departed, we were impressed. Your attention to detail and the "little things" was truly appreciated- the delicious granola, the shopping basket, the clothesline and pins, the video library with popcorn.. Definitely a 10/10 for our first (and hopefully not last) trip to Loreto! PS: loved all of your dining recommendations too!

Tom and Gena, Fairbanks, Alaska - (November 2008)
Can't thank you enough for hosting a great week. So good to make new freinds, eat great food and drink excellent margaritas! We'll treat you well when you come to Alaska-bring a sweater!

Richard, Annette, Barri, Bonnie, Fran, Roger, Rick and Sandy, - (October 2008)
The eight of us had such a wonderful time! You could not have been any nicer to us. This place is perfect for a group of lazy slugs like us! You have created a setting that is without equal in the Loreto! Most important, you made us feel like family-comfortable and welcomed to your casa. The highlight of the week had to be our joint effort to create the fabulous fish meal-we were all like a bunch of barracudas attacking fresh bait! Best of luck to you. You've really created something quite special.

Craig, - (August 2008)
Les, thanks for your gracious hospitality and for bringing the dorado closer to the beach for us. The Cabanas are very comfortable, the pool perfect after hot day's fishing and our dorado dinner capped off a fantastic week of fishing. I enjoyed meeting you and look forward to returning to Las Cabanas.

Nate, Emilie, and Elias, - (June 2008)
Thanks so much for another amazing vacation. It's hard to believe but I think we had an even better time this year than our last visit in October! (maybe it's because I was 8 mos. pregnant then!) As usual the place is gorgeous and the new addition looks awesome. We can't wait to come back again next year!

Brent, Brian and Don, Nevada and Idaho - (July 2008)
My Dad, brother, and I came here for our Dad's 60th birthday trip and had a great time. The cabanas couldn't have been any better, between the pool, outdoor kitchen, proximity to the Malecon, and our host, Les. We had a great time fishing with Baja Big Fish and even got to see 7 whales and a whale shark (right under our panga). We taste tested several margaritas but our favorite ended up being Augies, which is right around the corner! Our favorite dinner was at La Palapa but the other (La Islas, Super Burro, and Mita Gourmet) were all excellent. It couldn't have been any better!

Gary and Barb, Navajo Dam, NM - (June 2008)
Thanks again for a great stay. The rooms and hospitality are first rate. Hope to return again soon!

Les and Val, Vicente Guerrero - (May 2008)
A very relaxing time in an especially beautiful location! You have thought of everything to make our stay wonderful. We were glad to be able to return for a longer stay this time and we are quite sure that we will be back! We appreciated the warm family atmosphere and will certainly recommend this place to others.

Bill and Ludella , Mesa, AZ - (May 2008)
You have a beautiful place here! Thanks so much for everything you did for us and our family. The wedding was beautiful. You are all friendly and gracious, and that adds so much to the beauty of Las Cabanas! It has been a pleasure to stay here! We're looking forward to returning for another visit! Take Care!

Jim, Paula, and Teresa, Iowa and Ohio - (April 2008)
Absolutely the best place to stay in Loreto! Everything you need is here. We will tell all our friends about the great time we had during our stay!!! Here's to hoping one day we will return.

Kathy and Steve, West Des Moines, Iowa - (April 2008)

We all felt lucky to have chosen the best place in town! Thank you for such a home-like feeling!

Jim and Becky, Shelton, WA - (Feb. 2008)
Staying at Las Cabanas is like visiting at the home of very accommodating friends. Your generosity goes the extra mile whether it's for information or equipment for activities. The design and feel of the courtyard and the clean, colorful, well stocked room all met our expectations and then some. Wonderful location just steps from the beautiful panoramic Malecon and close to shops and restaurants. We are already looking forward to our return.

Jim and Deborah, - (Feb. 2008)
Thank you for a lovely time and relaxing stay! We felt as if we were guests in a family home, a gracious home with thoughtful hosts. So many touches went above and beyond our expectations..from Rick's marvelous photos in the rooms to the excellent coffee to the plethora of sports gear and toys available to guests. Added was cheerful assistance whenever needed, whether recommending great tacos (we loved Super Burro) or booking a boat ride to Isla Cornonado. This trip was planned as a basic R and R and a chance for two waterlogged Northwesterners to dry out but evolved into much more. We look forward to our return...haste luego!

Rob and Leslie, Selah, WA - (Feb. 2008)
Had a great time, we loved the peaceful atmosphere and all your hospitality! The mountains on the way up to San Javier are truly Tierra Bonita! We like the fact that Loreto has not been spoled by development the way some larger towns in Mexico have. Thanks Mucho. We will recommend your place to all who are interested!

The Wellivers, Seattle, WA - (Feb. 2008)
After 8 months of anticipation, our stay at Las Cabanas and Loreto was everything we'd hoped for and more! Thank you for all the extra touches..you've thought of everything, from bikes, wetsuits, coolers, coffee grinders, etc.. gracias! Our family has some priceless memories cruising the magical islands, playing on private beaches, coasting with 200+ dolphins, wading into Picazon, Valentines dinner at 1697 and grilling fresh fish together in your wonderful outdoor kitchen! We can't wait to recommend las cabanas to friends and family and then to return with them! All the best! Until Later! Pura Vida!

Margaret and Scott, Minnesota - (Jan 2008)
Rick, Jill, Les and Linda were wonderful hosts. This was our first trip to the Baja and hopefully won't be our last. We especially enjoyed the drive to San Javier and all the wonderful restaurants. The pool area and cabana were great~we couldn't ask for more! We love Loreto!

Bob and Diane, Bothell, WA - (Dec. 2007)
Our third stay at Los Cabanas and it never fails to please all the senses. Particularly the sense of relaxation.... A wonderful year to Las Cabanas in 2008!

Mike and Margi, Olympia, WA - (Dec. 2007)
For months the dream of Mexico sun has been brightening the soggy Seattle days. Now it is time to leave but we leave with sunnier spirits~thanks to the real Mexico sun and the warm hospitality of our hosts. Our batteries are re-charged and we look forward to a return visit! Gracias!

Tom and Kelly, Gig Harbor, WA - (Dec. 2007)
We feel very fortunate to have stumbled across Las Cabanas de Loreto! The facility was absolutely wonderful. The pool, courtyard, outdoor kitchen and dining areas provide for a very comfortable atmosphere and the opportunity to meet some new friends. We both would highly recommend staying here!

Art and Carol , Granada Hills, CA - (Nov 2007)
Thank you so much~had an unbelievably relaxing and great experience here from beginning to end! Don't want to go to Cabo after staying here! Everyone is so friendly, reminds me of MN. Will definitely tell all of our friends and relatives..what a find! It was like having our own hacienda here! Loved every minute.

Jerry and Melinda, Fall City, WA - (November 2007)
Absolutely wonderful! Our first stay here-definitely not our last. Marvelous hosts! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer, I couldn't eat enough or laugh harder! Next time.... Thanks so much!

Bunko , Beaverton, Oregon - (July 2007)
We were all anxious to get to Loreto and try out this wonderfull facility. We were a group of 12 and rented the 4 Cabanas and Main House for 10 days. It turned out as we expected, FANTASTICO.... Although there are many good restaurants close by, we used the facility to its fullest, we cooked about every night, using the BBQ's, etc. It seemed the only time we went out to eat was for Breakfast. Jill, Rick, Les and Linda have a great facility and are wonderfull hosts. Matter of fact, several people from our group have already committed to next year. This place is NUMERO UNO in Loreto.

Pietro, Sabrina, Deborah, Mimi and Michi, Seattle, WA - (May , 2007)
Another fantastic week! It is becoming our yearly get away. We can't wait to do it again, soon.

Bill , Santa Rosa CA. - ( April , 2007)
Wanted to thank the entire family for making us not only feel at home, but upon departing knowing that we had added new friends into this chapter of our lives. Had a fantastic time and look forward to seeing you all again. A very special town and the fishing is......guess you'll have to experience that for yourself. Thank you so much....We loved it!!! Thanks for sharing such a special place in your hearts.

Stair chick, - (March 2007)
Loved the place. Les, Linda, Jill and Rick were great; Fun,helpful and welcoming. Sweet little cabanas were our home away from home as we explored the area and we were always happy to return to them.

Gary, rancho santa margarita - ( August 2006)
Had a fantastic time!! I am looking forward to staying there again.

Karen and Lee , Oxnard, CA - (June 2006)
Jill and Rick: We had the most wonderful time at La Cabanas. This is the 7th year we have visited Loreto, and Las Cabanas is truly the best place to stay. Your hard work and devotion to the place truly shows. See you next year!!

JoAnn and Brian, Graham, WA - (May 2006)
Thank you for sharing your home-away from-home. We sincerely enjoyed every special touch, and all the extras; candles, movies, books the birds and the flowers, comfortable beds, lounges etc.. you care about all the things that your guests care about! We didn't want to leave this oasis to do anything else but rest and recoupe. Blessings!

Linda and John, Olympia, WA - (May 2006)
We enjoyed your beautiful cabana, refreshing pool and beach cruiser bikes. What a fun way to tour the town. Thanks for everything!

Joy, B. C. Canada - (April 2006)
A beautiful, peaceful oasis. My cabana is elegant and comfortable with a delightful and artistic decor. Everything is much more attractive than it appeared on your website! Many, Many thanks Linda and Les for your outstanding hospitality.

Bob and Diane, Bothell, WA - (April 2006)
Linda and Les, What a week it was! Diane and I have enjoyed your hospitality immensely. The cabanas are wonderful and the outside food/kichen area led to many great "family style" meals. With Jill's website help, we were able to come prepared to truly enjoy Loreto. Our plans are for two weeks next year and to bring fewer clothes!! When you are in Seattle give us a call.

Sue, - (April 2006)
A great stay with a place to park the car and walk to Loreto. Wonderful to get into the hot tub after hikes on the way to San Javier (and the bumps on the road). Good hot water after snorkeling on a cold day. Great, interesting people. Comfortable beds!

Pat and Carmen, Carpinteria, CA - (May 2006)
Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality-you have a wonderful oasis. Clean, comfortable and peaceful. We hope to visit some time in the future and we'll certainly spread the word about Las Cabanas.

Gail and Dave, Calgary, Canada - (May 2006)
Ambiance of Las Cabanas de Loreto can not be easily put into words....ahhhh..absolutely awesome. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Recommendations for food, shopping, touring and boating were plentiful and so appreciated. Met some wonderful people and enjoyed 8 wonderful days and 7 relaxing nights with our most gracious hosts and new friends. Muchas Gracias Rick and Jill!

Enid, Olympia, WA - (April 2006)
Couldn't have been a nicer week! We loved your cabana and the palapa by the pool was "game central." If ever in our lovely town of Olympia be sure to call us-the book club would love to have you as our guest! Gracias for everything!

Shannon and Jason, East Wenatchee, WA - (April, 2006)

Wow! Won't the aussies be impressed when we tell them about this place. Actually, we're trying to decide whether we should tell them at all! We might like to keep it to ourselves! What a beautiful, magical place, and what warm hospitality. We'll definitely be back. Cheers!

Matt and Anna, Girdwood, Alaska - ( April 2006)
We were very lucky to stumble upon this excellent accomodation. Loreto is a beautiful town. We wish we could have stayed longer, and we will be back someday. You guys thought of everything; great landscaping, to movie selection to grills to soap, etc....Thank you!

What and oasis of beauty and relaxation. This has literally been a "family affair" for us (12). Having the whole compound we have felt very much at home. Les, Linda and Jill, you are fabulous hosts, meeting our every need and more. What you have created is truly indescribable. It is a "must see and experience for yourself place". Something for all ages exists here as we had all ages in our family-to say we enjoyed it is an understatement. Loreto is truly a paradise. We love it here and will definately be seeing you again! Muchos Gracias!

We just returned from Loreto, where we stayed the entire 7 days at Las Cabanas de Loreto. The entire trip was a dream! The weather was awesome and everything in the place was unreal! By far the best place to stay in Loreto!! Walking distance to the town and ocean! I can't wait to return! Our entire family rented the whole place so it was very priviate and relaxing! Highly suggest staying here!!

Laura and Al, Vancouver Island, BC - (Feb 2006)
What can I say, we've been at Las Cabanas for two weeks now and had the most incrediable stay. Linda, Jill and Les treated us more like family than visitors. Any problems we had they found a solution for it. We shared dinners and wonderful conversation. I'm going to miss it here more than words can say. Thank you for making our visit feel so at home. We'll keep in touch for sure. PS: This is the "only" true place to stay in Loreto.

Dear Jill and Rick Many thanks for your hospitality. You have made Rob and I feel very welcomed. Your cabanas are so quaint and the grounds are very well kept. Your recommendations were muy bein....playing with pods of dolphins, seeing blue whales and finbacks couldn't have made a better holiday for us. We truly believe this is a place where dreams come true and wonderful memories are made-they will last a life time. We will be back for another stay, hopefully in September. Many blessings and best wishes to you, your dream house, and to loreto, a wonderful little town with so much to offer. Best Regards!

Who could ask for more? Muchas Gracias!

This place called Loreto is about as close to heaven as it gets. We love it here, the people are friendly and caring. We feel as though we are your house guests here at Las Cabanas. Thanks so much for everything. Not a cleaner, more comfortable place have we ever stayed at. We shall return!

We have fallen in love with Loreto and Las Cabanas de Loreto has been a wonderful high-light, even though short stay. Next time we'll call in advance~unless we are living here!

Lynn and Doug, Redmond, Oregon - (January, 2006)
We really enjoyed Las Cabanas. From what we could tell, this is the best place to stay in Loreto. Jill and Rick were such good hosts. We enjoyed fishing with Chema, and then BBQing Cabrilla and sharing a nice dinner with everyone. Our cabana was always clean and very comfortable. We were impressed with all the landscaping going on, and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was fun to relax, go out in the boat, and eat (lots) every day. Thanks for making it a good stay!

Ken and Amy, Seattle, WA - (December 2005)
Profuse thanks for a wonderful home base in Loreto. From a welcome beer, surprise tamales, and always on spot recommendations, you've been wonderful hosts. We look forward to returning and trying out the pool! Mil Gracias.

We have had two wonderful stays here. One on the way down Baja, only for one night and because we enjoyed it so much, we have been three nights here on the way back. Jill is a wonderful host, the cabanas are very comfortable and well equipped, and even the power came back on at 8am this morning! Hopefully we will be back!

Sarah, Cheltenham, England - (November 2005)
Our jouney across Baja has been enriched by our stay here at Las Cabanas de Loreto. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Jill's great company has added a new meaning to hospitality. What a find. Arriving here three days ago after sundown and magically stumbled onto Las Cabanas de Loreto. Three days later and I don't want to leave. The room is fantastic, the hospitality first class and the property amazing. Do I have to leave? Jill and her family have covered every detail. Thanks Jill for your kindness, generosity and keen attention to all those details. Be sure to have breakfst at Loreto Islas! And the owners of Mita Gourmet are sweet and kind. I will be back! Thanks for everything.

Dear Jill and Linda, Thank you for making our first trip to Loreto so special. We will be back next time with our son and our parents. We will highly recommend you to anyone who is coming to the baja. Good Luck in the future. We will think of you when we are freezing up North!

Pietro , Seattle - ( December 2005)
I was at Las Cabanas in October. Coming from Seattle, I was dreaming of the perfect, relaxing vacation with my family under the sun. Well, the sun is not a problem in Loreto, thankfully. Jill and Linda were the perfect hosts and the set-up was just what we were looking for. Another positive note is that having two young chilfren was not a problem at all. We will try to be back soon!

Steve , San Diego, CA - ()
If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Loreto look no further! We just got back from a week stay and I really don't know how it could have been better. The main house is one of the nicest houses in town (if there is a nicer home, it's not for rent)! We spent most of our time (when we weren't fishing) on the upper deck. The website really under-states the magnificent view of the Sea of Cortez and the islands and you will be literally steps from the water, restaurants and "watering holes"! Las Cabanas de Loreto will be my "home away from home" as long as the Clark/Jackson family will allow us to return. I checked out the cabanas while we were staying there--they are as nice as the "big house!" You can't help but relax and enjoy your self at Las Cabanas de Loreto!!!!!!

Edith and Dick, Dillon Beach, CA - ()
A wonderful place to stay in Loreto, new, spotlessly clean large rooms, quiet, with congenial hosts. Just a short walk to the center of town, and one half a block from the water. We checked in for two nights and ended up staying over two weeks! We can't recommend this place highly enough!
